HKDI

HKDI, stands for Hong Kong Design Institute, is the design school that I had entered for one year before I came to Japan. I was dreaming to become a designer after I graduated from secondary school so I went to HKDI for design studying.

I need to take three main courses at year 1,graphic design, product design and interior design. Also some classes about culture and english learning are needed.

Since I left HKDI and came to Japan after I just finished my year 1 study, I'm not really familiar with this school. But I did finish few works and took some photos as a record.

Here is some of my work (some of them are project works with my classmates):

EVERYGREEN

This is a drawing based on a song of my favourite Japanese musician, HYDE. The name of the song is evergreen. I did this with my classmates. We used six A3 size paper and one hour to finish it. I love this drawing very much.

My heart draws a dream

The bottle in orange is another work of mine. Tearcher told us to design the empty bottle within an hour. While everyone was colouring the outer side of the bottle, my partner and I put the colour inside the bottle so we can draw pictures on it without waiting the bottle got dry.

magazine cover design

This is a magazine cover design work done by a software called AI. I tried lots of designing software after I entered HKDI and I felt amazing about these software.
Although this on is only a 2D version, I did have some works about 3D drawing. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy but I already learned the secret of making 3D Hollywood like movie scene. I felt very disappointed when I first know how to make a scene having thousands of people and hourses. That was so easy! But I'm not going to tell you that in this blog.

Both of these are some quick sketchs of my favourite musician. I found out that I like sketching more than designing so I quited HKDI after studying for one year. I think drawing is better to do in leisure time than do as a homework.
